You're Invited to Kingman County Democrats “Meet the Candidates” Event, Part #2

Kingman Dems will host Jennifer Day, Ryan Gilbert and Jason Hart for a Q&A on Sunday, April 12th at 5:30pm. The gathering will be held at the The Hangar, located at The Hangar in Kingman, 126 N Main Street.

This is a unique opportunity to meet the candidates prior to the August 4th primary and let them know what concerns we have in Kingman County. The meeting is not exclusive, but all guests attending are expected to act with decorum and civility.

No RSVP required. Refreshments provided.

This event and others being planned are held for the benefit of our local Democrats. The Kingman County Democratic Party does not provide endorsements to any candidate. Voters are encouraged to make their own informed decision. This is not a fundraiser or campaign rally.

The Kingman County Democrats hosted Meet the Candidates: Part 2 on April 12th at The Hangar in Kingman, bringing together community members for an evening of conversation and connection.

We were pleased to welcome Jennifer Day, candidate for Kansas Secretary of State; Ryan Gilbert, candidate for U.S. Congress (District 4); and Jason Hart, candidate for U.S. Senate. Each candidate shared their background, priorities, and vision, followed by a thoughtful Q&A with local Democrats.

The discussion covered important topics including free and fair elections, term limits, and accountability for our political leaders—issues that continue to shape the future of our communities.

A big thank you to Julie Lyon for allowing us to use her space at The Hangar, and to local businesses Comfort Cookies and Natural Sweet Treats for providing delicious refreshments.
