Democracy Fests, 2025

Democracy is about meeting the needs of people and communities - and about forging the relationships needed to succeed.

In 2025, Democrats and independent citizens from around the state gathered at 3 Democracy Events hosted by the Kansas Democratic Party in western Kansas.

The series of events kicked off in Colby on Sept 20, followed by a gathering in Dodge City Oct 11, and culminating in Hays on Oct 18. Over 200 people gathered over the course of those events to learn, share ideas, name concerns, and meet many of the outstanding statewide Democratic candidates running in 2026.

Organizers from the local democractic parties in Thomas, Ford, and Ellis Counties, along with volunteers statewide, came together to host these three events. Thanks also to Nicole and others who captured these events in photos.
