The 2026 campaign is in full swing and Democrats across Kansas are ready for it.
State Fair Shines
If you have a chance at all to visit the Kansas State Fair, please swing by the Kansas Democrats booth in the Meadowlark Building. With special thanks to Reno County Democrats, the Kansas County Chairs Caucus (KC3) and KDP staff, the booth is snazzier and more welcoming than ever before.
Debates Sent a Message
Kansans aren’t putting up with the empty promises and culture war lies. The nonsense is wearing thin. And Cindy Holscher and Adam Hamilton put forward a robust alternative for Kansans. That is the conclusion to be drawn from the energetic response of the audience at the Kansas State Fair Debates.

Fall is Almost Here - Have a House Party (pumpkin spice optional)
Still looking for one more way to help your favorite candidate? Help people put just a little more juice in their campaign account to get them to the finish line. A purposeful House Party Fundraiser is a powerful and targeted way to do something now, while people are paying attention. The key is you don’t need they candidate or any outside VIPs to make it happen - its your party and your network. Tips can be found here: https://www.harvestblue.org/newsroom/house-party-how-to
County Parties at Work
County parties are well underway with their local campaign efforts: recruiting volunteers, connecting the core, and reaching out to friends and neighbors dissatisfied with the GOP at all levels.
Among the most effective strategies at this stage in the campaign are purposeful and well targeted calls, front-porch conversations, and for engaged Democrats to actively reach out to reluctant or shy voters in your personal circles (fancy name for that is “relational organizing”).
Close behind that are Postcarding and “Lit Drops”, which engage a wider range of volunteers in fun yet less forward-facing interactions. If your County would like tips and training on any of these activities, there are trainers who can help. Whatever your County is doing, feel free to send us a note and photos - we’d like to celebrate you.
PS: If your County needs State Slate cards with listings of all the major Democratic candidates, Contact Us and we can help coordinate. We are also on the look out for sign distributions and other materials. A statewide “Pony Express” is in the works to help get materials to all corners of the state (Volunteer drivers and folks to hold on to items at waypoints are needed)
