Our Work
The Caucus works to educate and stimulate interest Food and Farm Issues - driven primarily by the initiative of individual members in their home counties. We meet in person during the KDP statewide meeting - Washington Days - as well in support of other events. We are a recognized ancillary committee of the Kansas Democratic Party. Membership is open to all Kansas Democrats.
The Kansas Democratic Party, through its Platform, organizes statements of values and policy goals. As an issues-based Caucus, we are particularly focused on two key sections which relate to Agriculture and our Rural Communities.
